Pretty Much Everyone

I saw this video posted on Facebook and was understandably moved. (It's only a minute long, worth the watch) It documents the reaction of Ayanna Cruver, an African-American woman who had just been pulled over because the police officer noticed she was driving too slowly. He told her he wanted to make sure she was alright. She talks about how scared she was, and how unfortunate it is, even when the police officer is trying to help, that she had to be so scared. One of the comments below the post caught my eye, though. It was written by a white woman, and while I don’t believe she meant any harm, it’s still an example of how white privilege presents itself. Trump loves Putin

So, let me get this straight... Trump doesn't believe our intelligence agency's unified assertion that Russia interfered in our election process. He believes it may have been other countries. Or people. He doesn’t believe them, by the way, because WMDs. BUT, Trump blames Obama for "doing nothing" when he discovered Russia was interfering in our election process. You know, the interference Trump doesn't necessarily believe even happened. At least by Russia. Regardless of Trump's skepticism that Russia did anything wrong, he thinks Obama was wrong in "doing nothing" to Russia. BUT, regardless of Trump’s assertion that Obama "did nothing" about Russia's hacking, which was bad (according to Trump), Trump has graciously adopted the strategy of "moving forward" and will continue "doing nothing" himself.
