Phairness Doctrine

This is when  Trump knew he had the evangelicals in his back pocket.  If these "men of god" were willing to wade into to the muck Trump had created on the campaign trail, and stand there with their hands on him, praying, then they would do ANYTHING he wanted them to do.  Trump just had to play along long enough to gain their favor, which he did.  Trump's lack of moral compass, coupled with the evangelicals' thirst for  dominionist  power over... everything, made for the perfect match made in hell. And now, in the wake of the Roy Moore fiasco, especially as it serves to remind us of Trump's past accusers, this unholy union is being put to the test. Trump is doing his part now in  backing Roy Moore , now he needs those same voters to stick with him, as well. I predict they will. To the apocalyptic end. 

I saw this video posted on Facebook and was understandably moved. (It's only a minute long, worth the watch) It documents the reaction of Ayanna Cruver, an African-American woman who had just been pulled over because the police officer noticed she was driving too slowly. He told her he wanted to make sure she was alright. She talks about how scared she was, and how unfortunate it is, even when the police officer is trying to help, that she had to be so scared. One of the comments below the post caught my eye, though. It was written by a white woman, and while I don’t believe she meant any harm, it’s still an example of how white privilege presents itself. Her comment: Xxxxxxx:  I know she felt scared because of her color and understandably so BUT pretty much everyone feels scared when pulled over by the police; at least from personal experience I know I did. There, she just equated HER level of fear in this situation to an African-American woman's level of fea...

So, let me get this straight... Trump doesn't believe our intelligence agency's unified assertion that Russia interfered in our election process. He believes it may have been other countries. Or people. He doesn’t believe them, by the way, because WMDs. BUT, Trump blames Obama for "doing nothing" when he discovered Russia was interfering in our election process. You know, the interference Trump doesn't necessarily believe even happened. At least by Russia. Regardless of Trump's skepticism that Russia did anything wrong, he thinks Obama was wrong in "doing nothing" to Russia. BUT, regardless of Trump’s assertion that Obama "did nothing" about Russia's hacking, which was bad (according to Trump), Trump has graciously adopted the strategy of "moving forward" and will continue "doing nothing" himself.
